The Eurasian Strategies is a research department with the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). Established in 2017 it provides international political risks advisory and management consulting that meets interests of both public and corporate sectors.
Our research approach is rooted in the MGIMO school of political analysis which emerged in the 1970s in the process of preparing classified materials for the Soviet foreign policy and intelligence community.

MGIMO was founded in 1943 as core university for preparation of analysts and diplomats in the USSR. Soon MGIMO started enrolling foreign students, with its alumni joining the establishment of many countries worldwide.
